Agreed. Besides some trackers that use the 2G network will soon be unusable here in Norway
(and elsewhere?). Besides why pay for an extra SIM-card when a 433 MHz transmitter could send
the GPS-data for free? I fail to see any review of such tracker here. But such tracker would need a
good outdoor VHF-antenna.

Fair points, Peter. Indoor trackers can be useful if you have a cat who likes to hide but they’re mainly a precaution to help with location if an indoor cat manages to escape. And yes, some of them are almost comically large! There’s a cat in my neighborhood that I always see wearing one, so whether a tracker is bothersome or not might just depend on the individual cat.
