This food was was my cats favorite and came highly recommended. Then the bags said "Made in Serbia" rather than "Made in Italy" and the vomiting started. I had to change their brand and one cat was a difficult switch but the vomiting stopped. It has been reported in my area that many consumers had the same issue with the Serbia switch and have stopped using the product. The company stands firm there is no difference in the Serbian made products even though so many people have reached out to them. In my opinion, this company failed us and their responses to our concerns were not taken seriously. It took me a very long time to find another brand my older cat would eat - hello Nulo!

Contact the company via the chat feature on the manufacturer website. They will connect you with a specialist to discuss your cats needs and will send a sample upon request!

The information priovided seems contradictory in that "low in carbohydrates compared to most dry foods" is noted as a pro but also "high carbohydrate content" is noted as a con. Check to see it’s the Serbia plant? My cats refuse anything from that plant but Italy plant is good. They got a big problem with Serbia!

In reply to <a href="https://cats.com/farmina-cat-food-review#comment-124697">Kelley</a>.

Hi Kelley, it's hard to say how any cat will respond to different foods when they have multiple health concerns. I would recommend running the N&D food by your vet to see what they think. If you decide to give it a try, introduce it very slowly so your cat's digestive tract can adjust. Switching too quickly could make matters worse. Best to you and your cat!

I was wondering if the N&D Quinoa Digestive would be okay for cats with FLUTS(urinary sludge/stones)? I was also looking at the Quinoa for Urinary, but I'm not sure which is best since my cat has urinary sludge issues and IBS/IBD constipation issues. I feed wet food too, but need a kibble for when I am away. I hate that the only food I can give is Royal Canine Gastrointestinal. And even with that I have to supplement pumpkin to help with his constipation issues. Thank you in advance 😊.
