Upon checking, most of Inaba products have carageenan in them. Even the stews and soups which is bad because our 3 babies only like Inaba wet food products and I was actually glad that they have a lot of variations and flavors to choose from.

I have been feeding my cat the wet tuna with chicken and scallop broth for about a year and had no adverse reactions until now. I am worried this product is affected by the hot temperatures during shipping. My cat eats a few bites and immediately throws up. I have tried a couple unopened packs but still get the same reaction. Is it possible the product is spoiling during shipment?

In reply to Yvette. Do you have a link to the product you're referring to? I couldn't find any canned foods on Chewy and the Inaba website just pointed me toward the treats.

In reply to yvette. Hi Yvette, I believe you're correct that all Inaba Churu wet foods are considered treats. They do not contain the supplements necessary to meet AAFCO minimum nutrient requirements for complete and balanced nutrition.

Are all their wet food considered treats? I tried the wet food gravy cup – since label is in japanese, wasnt sure it it’s a treat or actual food. Also, which of their variety considered complete and balanced?

In reply to Pat Mastroddi. Hey there! Apologies for the late reply. Yes, Inaba Ciao treats contain added salt, which adds sodium, along with the sodium from the other ingredients. I would recommend talking with your vet to identify how much sodium is too much and which treats might be appropriate for your kitty. Wishing you all the best!
